How best to describe Just Menorca ?
This is not easy to explain without going into the background of how we got here...
The Balearics have been a popular place for us personally to visit for many years, and over those years we have seen the transformation and development of two of the more popular islands, Ibiza and Mallorca, go far beyond that of Menorca, with the exception of some areas affected by the early tourist industry boom Menorca has remained remarkably undeveloped, largely because of the status of 'UNESCO Biosphere Reserve' bestowed on it on the 8th October 1993 and careful planning by the local government.
Menorca has retained so much of it`s natural charm by being able to manage tourism to `coexist with it`s nature`, as lovers of nature ourselves Menorca to us is the place that represents how to live with nature without over developing and spoiling it`s very core.
So Just Menorca is really about what it has to offer you, we believe if you have never visited the island you really should, at just under 55km long and only 22km wide you would find it hard to experience anything quite like Menorca, a coexistance with it`s natural surroundings, described as 'Man and nature living side by side' I can`t think of a truer word said...
