Es Castell
Close to the capital Mahon and placed at the mouth of Port Mahon, Es Castells streets and coves make a perfect location for eating out breakfast, lunch or dinner with ample choice of restaurants, cafes and bars available to suit all tastes and pockets.
The town itself is wrapped around two coves, Cala Fonts, where the cove is lined with restaurants and bars formed in the cliff, & Cala Corb, neither have a beach but there are places you can enter the clear waters to swim, the closest sandy beach is Punta Prima which is a 15/20 minute drive away.
To the southern end of the town you'll find another cove, Cala Pedera, where it is possible to swim off of the jetty, edging the bay you'll find the town of Sol de Este which is mainly residential and holiday villas.
